Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Family and Consumer Education Program provides practical education and information to Ontario County residents on budgeting, long term care insurance, credit/debt management, Food Safety, Home Food Preservation, and Parenting Education, as well as Child Development and Aging.

We offer classes, answer consumer requests and publish Caring for Kids, a monthly newsletter for those who care for and about children, ages birth to 10 years. We also have fact sheets and bulletins on various topics. We offer Family Budgeting Education and Parenting Skills Workshop Series. Finally, we provide financial and energy conservation education.
