4-H Program
4-H is the "hands-on" Youth Development program of Cornell Cooperative
Extension. 4-H provides informal educational opportunities that will enable youth
to become the leaders of tommorrow.
4-H clubs are organized groups of five or more boys and girls, ages 5 - 18, guided
by adult volunteers. They meet regularly to plan and work on 4-H projects.
The mission of the Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development Program
is to create supportive learning envirobmnets in which youth reach their fullest
potential as capable, competent and caring citizens.
